Obama’s Missed Opportunity and the P2P Revolution in Philanthropy

Check out Obama’s Missed Opportunity to Change Charity over at Stanford Social Innovation Review. The post looks at how Obama could have used the process of donating the Nobel Peace Prize funds to make a much bigger impact.
Over at Harvard Business Review, I have a post on the person-to-person revolution in philanthropy. Ubiquitous and cheap communications everywhere—even in post-earthquake Haiti—are going to fundamentally change the way philanthropy is done. Not in terms of fundraising but in terms of the relationships and information exchange between donors and beneficiaries. How will nonprofits and foundations react?
